HEALTHY SNACK HAUL
One of my favorite things to watch on YouTube is snack hauls! Honestly I am very much of a snacker I know everything is with moderation but sometimes with my busy schedule plus work and running around, I sometimes don’t get the time to sit down and have an actual meal or let’s say I want to have a Netflix’s and chill night then I know for sure am going after the snacks!
I dedicated a month of researching and tasting to come up with my ultimate guide to snacks; some are gluten free, keto, paleo, sugar free and even some vegan tasty treats. I was actually so surprised how the food industry has changed from baked goods not using regular flour to products using natural sugars to even using healthy oils; what a blessing to be in a generation were so many creatives are transforming junk into real sustainable food, I remember back in the days my mom couldn’t even get me healthy cookies without them having high fructose corn syrup truly sad but realistic nowadays companies are rising to make better healthy and reliable products that will benefit all of us without missing the classic treat yourself snacks.
I hope you all enjoy my picks. These are the treats that I felt had the most flavor and the best textures! We all know that some of these treats maybe one or two dollars pricier than let’s say your regular chips ahoy cookies or sour patch kids but at the end of the day one or two more dollars for one or two more years of a healthy life is well worth the price in my opinion.

A Little Extra 411 –
Besides the snacks I wanted to also give you two cereal options that have a low glycemic level as well low on the sugar range, honestly am a sucker for a good bowl of frosted flakes [childhood dreams] but I can’t always do that, yes these cereals aren’t the most potent in flavor but are actually the better once out there, what I like doing is making parfaits or serial bowls that have depth to them not only to make them tastier but to also add a bit of eye appeal, as they say you eat through your eyes as well!

For example, let’s say I am making a parfait, in a clear cup or bowl I would start my bottom layer with my favorite vegan yogurt called LAVVA that has actual real ingredients the next layer would be one of the cereals mentioned above, my next layer would be a drizzle of either monk fruit syrup or a bit of agave, then the next layer would be chopped fruits plus the remainder of the yogurt on top of that, lastly dress the top with a bit more cereal and another drizzle of monk fruit syrup or agave and voila you’re ready to either pack set and go or eat as is!
Now for the cereal bowl, I like adding one of the milks above and swirling in about ¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract once that’s done I like adding half a sliced banana and two sliced strawberries, if am in the chocolate mood I’ll add a bit of Lily’s semi-sweet baking chips [stevia based] and then I’ll add one of the cereals above. I am so into changing it up when it comes to cereal; different textures and different flavors. Hope this helps you get cereal inspired!
Gut Health + Glowy Skin Tip –
