SERVES 3
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup of heavy cream
¼ Cup of milk
1 ¼ cup of semisweet, bittersweet chocolate or dark chocolate [finely chopped]
2 Tablespoons of coffee, brandy or Grand Mariner
1 Teaspoon of vanilla extract or orange extract
1 Tablespoon of butter [unsalted]
PREPARATION
- Turn your stovetop to a low heat and in a small saucepan add in your heavy cream, milk and chopped chocolate.
- Constantly stir until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is velvety and smooth. Leave your heat at a low and do not let it come to a boil or a bubbling mix.
- Once melted turn off your stovetop and remove from the heat.
- Add in your coffee or brandy, add in your extract and lastly your butter. Stir until everything is melted and smooth. Serve immediately and with the treats/dippers of choice.
