TIPS ON STORING SUGAR
TIP
WHEN I PURCHASE WHITE SUGAR, BROWN SUGAR OR CONFECTIONERS SUGAR. I TEND TO STORE THEM WITH DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES.
+ WHITE COARSE SUGAR {OR FINE SUGAR} - OPEN THE PACKAGE AND POUR THE SUGAR IN AN AIR-TIGHT CONTAINER OR MASON JAR. CLOSE THE LID AND STORE THEM IN THE DARKEST SPOT OF YOUR PANTRY.
+ BROWN SUGAR - POUR THE PACKAGE INTO A ZIP-LOCK BAG. MAKE SURE TO SQUEEZE ANY AIR OUT OF THE BAG BEFORE CLOSING IT.
+ CONFECTIONERS SUGAR - STORE THE SUGAR EITHER IN A ZIP-LOCK BAG OR A MEDIUM PLASTIC CONTAINER.
+ VANILLA SUGAR - PLACE USED VANILLA PODS ONTO THE WHITE SUGAR CONTAINER AND STORE.
+ SUGAR PEELS - USE YOUR LEFT OVER LEMON, ORANGE, AND LIME PEELS AND PLACE THEM INTO ANY SUGAR CONTAINER.
