HERB STORING TIPS

TIPS

+ WHEN I BUY HERBS I LIKE TO INSPECT THEM AND MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF DARK STEMS, DARK LEAVES OR MOLD. PLACE THE HERBS INTO A MASON JAR AND FILL THEM WITH WATER, [JUST TO COVER THE STEM PART] TREAT THEM AS IF THEY WERE FLOWERS BEING PUT ON A VASE. PLACE AN OPEN ZIP-LOCK ON TOP OF THE BOUQUET OF HERBS AND STORE THEM IN THE FRIDGE.

 TIP

+ WASH THE HERBS WITH WATER AND CUT THE STEMS. PAT THEM OUT WITH A PAPER TOWEL AND PLACE THE HERBS ON TOP OF A NEW KITCHEN PAPER TOWEL. ROLL THE SIDES OF THE PAPER TO COVER THE HERBS AND STORE THEM INTO ZIP-LOCK BAGS. STORE THEM IN THE COOLEST PART OF THE REFRIGERATE.
