ORGANIC PAPAYA AND LIME SLUSHY

This invigorating tropical drink is the perfect blend of sweet and tangy. It’s nourishing for the body as the papaya has many rich sources, such as vitamin C, vitamin B and fiber to help with digestion. Cheers!


Ingredients

Serves 3-4

 1 Medium ripe papaya [prepping instructions below]

1 ½ Large limes [juiced]

1 ¼  Cups of Water or lemonade

2 Tablespoons of Agave [optional]


Prep the papaya by peeling the outer skin and scooping out all of the seeds with a spoon. Cube or dice the papaya and place them into a large zip-lock bag or medium bowl. Place the papaya into the freezer and let it set overnight or for a minimum of three hours. Once the papaya is frozen take it out freezer and let it rest for five minutes. Place the papaya, lime juice, agave and water or lemonade into the blender and blend until you see a slushy consistency. Once blended pour the slushy into your serving cups and enjoy!

 Tip – You can add a thinly sliced lime piece on top of each slushy for a decorative touch.
