Hawaiian Pita-Pizza

Serves 2 Vegetarian Hawaiian Pita-Pizza

Ingredients
  • 2 Whole wheat Pitas {or to your liking}
  • ½ Cup of diced pineapple
  • 1 Cup of shredded mozzarella
  • 2 Tablespoons of catsup
  • ¼ Teaspoon of peppercorn medley grinded {black pepper}
  • ¼ Teaspoon of salt
Preparation
Start by slicing the pita open on each side, after opening pita place them on top of a sheet tray lined with foil or parchment paper. Frost the tops of pitas with the catsup, then add the mozzarella and lastly the pineapple dices, once assembled add the seasonings. Place under the broiler on low for 5-8 minutes until the cheese is nice and gratinated. Enjoy!
