Looking for a refreshing cool drink on those hot days? This upgraded shake version using frozen bananas, almond milk and cinnamon is the way to go! Nutty, sweet and thick this drink hits the spot. Cheers!

1 Ripe frozen banana [cut into large pieces]

1 Cup almond milk

1/2 Teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 Teaspoon vanilla extract

1 Teaspoon of honey

¼ Teaspoon of cinnamon powder

Cinnamon stick {garnish}

Nutmeg {decorative sprinkled garnish}

Blender or NutriBullet

 

Preparation

Combine all of your ingredients except for the cinnamon stick into a blender and blend until thick and smooth. Pour the shake into a glass and sprinkle a bit of nutmeg on top; add your cinnamon stick and serve!

Tip - Save your ripe bananas by slicing them, storing them in an air tight container or plastic zip lock bag and then freezing them for later use.
