Papaya And Lime SlushyServes 3-4 Drinks
1 Medium ripe papaya [prepping instructions below]
1 ½ Large limes [juiced]
1 ¼ Cups of Water or lemonade [see tips]
2 Tablespoons of Agave [optional]
Prep the papaya by peeling the outer skin and scooping out all of the seeds with a spoon. Cube or dice the papaya and place them into a large zip-lock bag or medium bowl. Place the papaya into the freezer and let it set overnight or for a minimum of three hours. Once the papaya is frozen take it out freezer and let it rest for five minutes. Place the papaya, lime juice, agave and water or lemonade [see tip] into the blender and blend until you see a slushy consistency. Once blended pour the slushy into your serving cups and enjoy!
Tip - If your using water to make the slushy you can add the fresh lime juice, if using store bought lemonade I would recomend not using the fresh lime juice as it can overpower the taste of the papaya.
Tip -You can add a thinly sliced lime piece on top of each slushy for a decorative touch.
