My Go To Nightstand Essentials"Less Clutter More Flow" Lifestyle
I find myself always coming back home from a long day and relaxing into an atmosphere that puts me at ease. When it comes to my room I picked a palate of paint that resonates tranquility to me, my favorite was a creamy light beige-pink palate and for my nightstand I opted for the less clutter look, you could call it minimalist but I highly doubt it since I like a mix of everything and with some sort of color. I went for a table that had three drawers to place anything from makeup to jewelry, but with a point of having the top of the nightstand clutter free and flowing.
These are my nightstand go to essentials!
Fresh Flowers - These bundles of joy help the air flow with a natural scent and lightness. Flowers such as roses, hydrangeas and peonies help clear away any unwanted odor. Did I mention there proven to boost your mood and space!
Candle - The scent of a candle is the perfect way to set up the mood. Ask yourself which scents heighten your senses and go from there. For relaxation and sleep I recommend these candle scents lavender, jasmine, sandalwood or edelweiss.
Signature fragrances - Top your nightstand with your most used fragrances. I like to stick with my three signature scents. Try to place three or less perfume items on top, always remembering to make room for your other essentials.
Lipsticks - Go for your most used lipsticks on the top of the nightstand. Since one of my drawers is assigned for makeup it acts as a perfect storage for my seasonal lipstick palates. Each time a new season hits, just trade off the lipsticks from the top and store them back with your other palates and then place your new go to lipstick palates on the top.
Amethyst Crystal Stone - I like placing this natural stone anywhere through out the home specially in the rooms I spend the most time in. There are so many proven scientific factors to this stone such as cell-growth promotion, absorbing the radiation from any cellphone or electronic devise, it has also been experimented on the sleeping aids for animals and humans; scientist call this the “sleep modulator” because it calms your whole body and helps you sleep.
Picture or Drawing - I always recommend placing a picture or a drawing that brings some sort of emotional positive balance. Even in the days that aren’t that great you can always look at the picture or drawing and it instantly makes you happy and tranquil.
