Balsamic Green Beans

Serves 4 Sides Balsamic Green Beans

Ingredients

2 Pounds of green beans {washed & trimmed on each side}

3 Tablespoons of butter

3 Garlic cloves {minced}

½ Cup of balsamic vinegar

Salt

Preparation

In a large pot pour in the water filling it half way up, add in the salt {to liking} and turn the heat to high. Once the water begins to boil add in the green beans and cook them for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, the beans cook grab a large bowl and fill it with water and ice. Drain the green beans and place them into the ice water. Once the beans cool; drain them and pat them dry with a paper towel{set aside}. In a large sauté pan add in the butter and garlic. Turn the heat to a medium-high and let the butter turn slightly brown, add in the greens beans and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Pour in the balsamic vinegar and toss. Cook them for another 3-5 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
