Ingredients

Chicken

4 Chicken breast fillets {thin}

3 Garlic clove {whole}

1 Tablespoon of butter

1 Tablespoon of olive oil

 1 Tablespoon of oregano {fresh or ground}

¼ Teaspoon of white pepper

½ Teaspoon of salt

 

 Gorgonzola Sauce

3 Cups of heavy cream

3 Ounces of gorgonzola cheese {fresh & crumbled}

1 Tablespoon of oregano {powder}

White pepper {to liking}

Salt {optional & to liking}

Preparation

Gorgonzola Sauce

In a medium pot add in the heavy cream and cook over a medium high-heat. Once you see it coming to a boil turn down the heat to a medium-low. Add in the gorgonzola cheese, oregano, white pepper, and salt. Stir until all is melted. Leave on low heat until its ready to be served with the chicken.

Chicken

Lay the fillets onto a board and pat both sides dry. Season both sides with oregano, white pepper and salt. In a large sauté pan add in the olive oil and butter. Turn the heat to medium-high and add the garlic cloves, letting the garlic infuse the oil. Once the garlic turns slightly dark brown, discard it. Add in the chicken pieces and cook each side for 5-7 minutes. Once the chicken cooks drizzle over the gorgonzola sauce and serve!
